Anyone looking for hosting or domain info read the response
to John's question about web hosting here:

I should have posted it here instead but I am a total noob when it comes to forums.
One thing I would add to the above post is this:
You don't want your domain stolen do you?
Then make extra careful sure that you have an accurate email address for your registered domain. ICANN has changed domain transfer policies so that if somebody were to request to transfer your domain, and you were not to reply to the confirmation request within 5 days, then your domain will be transferred without authorization.
This new policy took effect November 12th, 2004.
How to protect yourself? Lock your domain.
BTW, Holly rocks! Get the book... She responded to an email I sent her last month and she is the real deal. Thanks Holly for all the encouragement. |
